Every overseas vacation trip that I have taken in the last 10 years has been in *A First or Biz. I would never pay to fly international F but, with saver awards, it's an actual bargain.
Yes, you have to have flexibility in scheduling, but you can always do back-up bookings in Y and wait for inventory to open close-in.
