While I understand your frustration all airlines have schedule changes, not just AC. If a non-stop departure one day prior or later to the date of the cancelled flights doesn't work for you a refund may be requested.
It's not the schedule change that pisses me off, it's simply how they handled it. I went from a direct flight in J to a connecting flight with a 5 hour layover AND a domestic business class product. I mean it's ridiculous, I have never experienced such .... tier service from any airline. It doesn't help that the agent I talked to had no idea what she was doing.
