I'm planning on flying SYD-LAX in the beginning of September in F. Haven't flown QF in a couple of years so I have a few of questions.

1) Is there a difference in service, meals, passenger loads, etc between QF107 or 11?

2) I heard F is getting a slight overhaul? Do you think 107 or 11 will have it by the first week of Sept?

3) What is the best seat in F? I normally tend to go for row 1 but I read that the foot area is smaller? Can someone elaborate? Or have pictures they can show?
