Passport was up for renewal and with no immediate travel plans I let it expire to bump the next renewal by several months. I sent it in no rush no expediate.
Aug 1 mailed priority mail from Florida
Aug 3 delivered in Irving Texas
Aug 7 check cleared
Aug 10 PP shipped from Arizona priority mail
Aug 11 PP delivered to my PO box.
Ten day routine renewal. ^ DOS PP Office better be careful, others might expect such service.
Aug 17 or so passport card and old PP arrived in separate mailings.
Interesting old PP came from Sterling VA. Does no one in Texas know how to punch two holes? Is their only "specialist" in Virginia?
