A datapoint for anyone considering booking this hotel during an England test match.
They do an 11am check-in and a 9am check-out for pitch facing rooms. Bear in mind that the cricket starts at 11am, you might miss the start.
Also they only allow 2 people to be in the room and if anyone else wishes to visit your room they must buy tickets from the reception!!
Not too sure the hotel can enforce such a restriction without it being in the terms. But this is what they told me when I enquired about staying. I didn't ask as to how much they wish to charge.
Costs for the test match for a room are between £420 and £450 per night for pitch facing rooms without breakfast.
Also the dining room is closed during the test match for dinner - but assume it is open for breakfast, but I expect reduced times.
