Yes, it seems that the author of the article really handled the situation wrong. He should have been able to stand up for his wife without losing his cool. His assertion that the abuse caused his wife's baby to turn breech can't be proven and anyway isn't the real takeaway message.

Nothing can excuse the TSA's blatantly abusive physical search practices. Just when did it become acceptable to feel an innocent traveler's breasts? This kind of invasion of people's bodies might be acceptable for prison inmates, but it is certainly not an insignificant amount of trauma and it is certainly not acceptable for non-suspect air passengers.
