Inaccurate and offensive. I find those who are most scathing about Southwest and "would never set foot on board Southwest" have never flown Southwest, or have not done so for years. The FF program is modest but no game of three-card monte, like some others, and the Southwest coach seat is better than many. With so many UA/AA/DL lounges overcrowded, threadbare garbage pits, Southwest customers aren't missing much in the lounge department. As for the employee "shtick," I will take a cheery Southwest person doing a little shtick over an apathetic, vindictive or quasi-rational legacy airline person every day and twice on Sunday.
