Yeah, J2 on CX is a BC runner position, that person probably called in sick so the FP has to do 2 positions himself. ISM is definitely not helping, should've just gone back to 1L and stayed there. Seems to me the ISM is quite enjoying the train wreck that is JCL service.

Boarding and welcome services is done supplemented by YCL crew Y1, but can't stay for long before YCL fills up. Hence he probably was midway through galley prep when he has to do welcome service himself. That galley cannot no matter the circumstances show the SP that he hasn't got it under control. So between keeping up appearance to the SP, who appraises all JCL crew, and serving the cabin, the FP did his best.

When flying CX, have empathy and patience. CX and KA staff are all working very hard to cope with constant eroding of resources everywhere, that's including ground and engineering in addition to ISD.
