I only started to stay at Marriott properties after the GS to Platinum match. Moved a lot from Hilton and a little from SPG. But with the threshold for Platinum lowered to 50 nights, I should be able to manage Platinum at least for 2019.
Hopefully they go back and match GS to Platinum like at the beginning.
