Duplicate flight numbers on same itinerary
I just noticed that I have the same flight number on my outbound flight as my inbound flight 6 days later (SFO-MIA AA383 & MIA-SFO AA383). Don't think I've every noticed this before and find it "odd" for this to occur. And sure enough I look at a random day for this flight and see that on the same day both flight numbers are put into use.. Maybe this is a sign of a lotto number to play in CA and FL... LOL

Any reason why this is perhaps "allowed" or desired? Just curious.
