Uh, as of 19th August 2018 they ARE using them. There is one MMW and it looks like it’s been there for a while. All passengers are being asked to walk through MMW, while the metal detector is fenced off. I assume they’ll open it for TSA Pre and Global Entry.

Fortunately for my current travel, I was able to book alternative transportation without a substantial fare increase.
