Maybe my post came across really wrong. The priority is to attend the funeral in the UK (and we will do no matter what) before myself and my family travel to South America. We are more than happy to travel by any means to GRU (same as change our onward connecting flights and hotel booking in GRU). My question was simply if BA sometimes move redemption flights based on a family members funeral based on FT community experiences.
