There currently are CW seats available to São Paulo on 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 and 31 August. I presume you are looking after that timeframe, so my advice would be to go to WT or WTP and be prepared to move to CW if availability opens up, which it may well do close to departure. I don't see BAEC being willing to force availability through on days with only revenue tickets, but they may perhaps be sympathetic on the change fee (e.g. only charge it once even if you actually move it twice).
Thanks CWS. Currently we are travelling on the 07/08 so of course its possible the funeral might be before that date. But I just wanted to know my options ahead of time. If terms of getting them to potentially waive the change fee how would it be best to get that? Email/Twitter/Phone/Other? Or simply to get them to write it on the notes any method?
