The only "more powerful" feature of the corporate ediditon is in the additional flexibiity the network admin has to control the behaviour of multiple clients. You can force updates, virus checks, scans, installs, etc. from a single server for all clients. You can setup idential schedules for updates, etc.

The regular version will do just as good a job in protecting the single system provided you keep it auto-protected. Starting with the 2004 version Symantec added product activiation to enfore license compliance.
