I’ve gotten conflicting information on this and my understanding is a bit cloudy. So I’m hoping to get correct information here. I’m not familiar with how things work at MAD.

Im traveling TLV-MAD-MIA on IB. Carry-on bags only. US Passport. Both flights are scheduled at T4S in Madrid.

Can I just walk from one gate at T4S to the other gate at T4S ?

Or must I go through Passport Control and Security between arrival and departure gates.
