Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? We booked eight reward nights. Booked a room with two doubles and the upgrade we were given was a room with a view. At check in we were offered an iconic tourelle Suite for a nightly supplement of $40. We also upgraded to Club Lounge access for $60 for the three of us.

How are the rooms? The bedroom which I have got is compact, the living room where my kids are sleeping is much larger. As well as the sofa bed there are two armchairs.

How is the exec. lounge? Lovely - decent breakfast in the morning (sausage, bacon, eggs, cold cuts, pastries, fruit, juice, smoothies, yoghurt). Evening service is a hot dish plus salad, cheese, bread, wraps, fruit. Last night it was paella. Wine, beers and spirits are served for a couple of hours. All day service is fruit, soft drinks, coffee machine and nuts. The lounge staff are friendly.

What was good and what was bad? Pool is long and thin but there is a deck outside with sun loungers. Welcome gift was three cupcakes. Fruit bowl with apples, apricots, cherries and grapes. Plenty of water, sparkling and still. Welcome points posted immediately and we were given vouchers for three cocktails at Sarah B bar.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return? 45000 points a night seems good value compared to other redemptions.
