One thing to note if you wish to travel to Phuket area:

I travelled there every year for holiday for the past 6 years. Whilst Dec-Jan used to be dry season, this is absolutely no longer the case.

Except mainly rain in December and beginning of January.

Locals would tell you that they really feel the effects of climate change and dry season shifted to February March now.
