I managed to walk from the AA international terminal to the NW terminal (sorry, was only there once, can't remember the numbers - it was a trek, but worth it with a 6 hour layover and NW the only lounge I had access to ) in late 2002. It wasn't signposted, but you could just keep finding the end of each terminal, and lo, there were walkways

(But I suppose the problem would be I didn't depart from that terminal - just walked over to use the lounge.... departing, I could definitely see the problems)
