Tried lowering the CLs on my fairly new biz card & the DW's via SM. After almost a full day, received identical replies claiming that this cannot be done via SM.
This is a new one on me. Can't count the number of times I've reduced Citi CLs on cards (both personal & biz) via SM with no real difficulty.
