I'm considering staying at the Westin Copley and I called to check on parking charges. They told me that it is $36/night valet with in & out privileges, and there is also parking at the Copley Garage for $28/night without in & out privileges.

Has anybody used the Copley Garage? I don't plan to drive when I'm in Boston so that's a viable option. Is it a long walk to get to the hotel?

On a related note, can someone recommend a decent hotel, Starwood or otherwise, outside of downtown Boston that has cheap or free parking and easy access to the T or a T station with reasonable parking rates?
