Not so! Go to the front of the property facing the main street (Poipu Road), turn left and walk on the sidewalk for about 5 - 10 minutes. You'll get to traffic circle that fronts an outdoor shopping center that includes Merriman's, a Roy Yamaguchi-run restaurant, an upscale market that has an attached restaurant / cafe / deli (Living Foods), a bar, a Lapperts, and one or two other take out places. There's also a Longs Drug if you're in need of sundries or cheap drinks.
