Wild mushroom consommé with mushroom soufflé and root vegetables - rather unpleasantly bitter: I ate the soufflé bits and left the rest!
Vegetarian spring rolls with sweet chili sauce (replacement starter): these were so good I got a second portion!!
Ricotta and spinach tortelloni with slow-roasted tomato salsa, parmesan and pea shoots: another unoffensive, but unimaginative, BA pasta dish.
Rich chocolate tart with carmelised pecan nuts and cappuccino mascarpone: tasty, but very rich/sweet indeed - I only managed a few mouthfuls.
Cheese plate: Chevington, Shropshire Blue and Applewood Cheddar: a rather bizarre presentation!
