Thanks for the advice. I have not flown HA before so they're new to me. I'm really not impressed so far. Amex says I can request Hawaiian refund my points but that it might take them awhile. And of course I'm out the $30 Amex fees to transfer points. If I'm going to give up on trying to get a lie-flat seat with points (yes it was for 2 PAX) then which airlines do you think provide the best service for flights between Hawaii and the West Coast US? (In J or just overall?)
