The Terminal 1 transit hotel was definitely worth it for me when I had a similar amount of time to pass. Having an outdoor swim in an airport whilst jet-lagged with planes in the background was a surreal experience.

One thing to note is that all the transit hotels in Changi used to be run by the same company so all had access to the pool whereas now the Terminal 1 hotel with the pool is a different brand (Aerotel).
