Asiana flight reschedule and possible recourse
I had booked Asiana Oz232 HNL to ICN through expedia.com. It is supposed to depart on 14 Dec 2018, but a few days ago I was informed that the flight is rescheduled to 15 Dec instead - a full 24 hours later. There are no longer any departures on 14 Dec.
As this would cause me to miss my connecting ICN to SIN flight on 15 Dec, I am trying to cancel the flight for a full refund but it is proving difficult.
So aug 9 - i am informed of the reschedule. I call expedia to request for a refund. They try to call Asiana but no one picks up, so they leave them an email.
aug 13 - no news, so i call expedia again. Expedia says asiana never replied their email. They call asiana again. Asiana tells them they will have to send an email to check with HQ. Expedia tells me to check again tomorrow.
This whole process is taking much longer than i expected. What should I do? What other recourse do i have?
