(3) How many miles do you usually fly each year? (<25K, 25k-50k, >50k)
New job, so hard to say. Likely 4 flights per month, 2 dom and 2 intl. Roughly 150k

UA Silver through Marriott PP. 24k EQM with UA thus far.
(5) What is most important to you in a FFP? (Frequent upgrades on travel, priority services when flying the airline, good award redemption rates, free lounge access, etc.)
Good redemption
(6) Which routes do you fly most often (US Domestic, Transpacific etc)
A little of everything. Some intra Europe. Some Europe-Middle East. Some US Domestic. A decent amount of transatlantic.
(7) Preferred Airlines
Nothing in particular.
(8) Do you travel for work or pleasure? (Can you chooose your airlines, class of service?)
Mostly business. Not much choice, typically J international.
I have two upcoming trips, one DUB-FRA-KWI on LH in J and then FRA-DFW in J airline to be determined. I currently have the KWI trip set to earn UA miles, but I'm wondering if there is a better option.
I have roughly 70k UA miles and 140k AA miles and would like to take a honeymoon next year to either Maldives or Tahiti in F or J on an award.
The grass in not always
greener on the other side.
So stick with UA & AA.
Have you looked at award cost (& surcharges) & ff miles expiry of other ffp's?
Several recent threads on awards to Maldives & Tahiti. Is hard to get a premium award. And magnitude harder for 2 people. Need to start looking/booking from 355/330 days out.
