I wasn't being too serious re. Concorde btw But... I am struggling with this one. Let's have a final try with a Hawker-Siddeley Trident ( a BEA hangover after the merger ) to LHR.

Spot on, Mr. R! ^ BEA offered six mostly daily Trident flights between EDI and LHR.

9. Lance is enjoying the sun and surf at Miami Beach when headquarters calls and informs him that he’s needed in Paris as soon as possible. Uh… would that be Paris, Texas or Paris, France? The latter, I’m afraid. Well dang! On a positive note, there’s a First Class seat available that very evening aboard a widebodied jet operating nonstop from MIA into ORY. Identify the airline and aircraft Lance will be flying upon.
HINT: It's a foreign airline

Air France didn't fly this route back then which is odd because they served the caribbean from Miami for local services. My guess then would be AeroMexico on a DC-10.

You're on a roll, Sir! AeroMexico it is with a thrice weekly DC-10-30 flight. This one surprised me as I'd always thought AM operated to Paris via Madrid. Here's the schedule:

AeroMexico AM 450 Miami (MIA) 925p – 1150a Paris (ORY)
Aircraft: DC-10
