London isn’t that foggy. Wet yes, fog no. It was very wet on Friday (morning) especially, but the only unusual apart that was it’s been less frequent than most British Augusts.

Problem is, while A/C is culpable for $150-200k I don’t think they’re paying it. We know they’re not telling people about it or giving them the money even when it’s a clear LHR YYZ mechanical issue. The question which I doubt we’ll ever know is how many people are claiming. If it’s only 20 people per flight that’s ~$18k even for > 4h and whatever a few meals costs. I suspect AC cares less about this and so is playing the odds that most FOTSG don’t know their rights.
