Meanwhile this is a card from Barclay, which can be tougher for churning than some other banks. So don't assume that you can get another soon enough (to make up for not getting 9K a couple years).
9k is a bit over half of a 15i free night. It totally depends where you use your free nights (and how much you save by doing so) as to how much 9k is worth for you. No one else but you can answer that.
And in case you mostly use 3k+cash, it's even more complicated to analyze. But you are still the only who can who do the analysis, based on how much 3k saves you each time on average.
Plus, it doesn't hurt to call Barclay to see if they can give you a spend bonus and/or fee waiver/offset for keeping the card. Maybe they can, maybe not, but it may turn out to be more than just the 9k for $75 would have been, you won't know until you try. (Call after the AF is billed, but before it's due, so that you have all your options still available, and so that they're mostly likely to try to keep your business.)
