You're right... but s/he might have been confusing LTP and LTPP as there is a mention of attaining one of the goals (500 nights) but being 3 yrs short and two specific mentions of LTP before finally mentioning LTPP in the last part of the post.

In any case, and for avoidance of doubt: LTPP is out of reach, while LTP will take the OP an additional 3 years of Plat status to reach LTP (now requiring 10 years and 600 nights).
