I booked a mixed cabin UA business saver award ticket. The economy portion is on TK metal. Is there a way that I can pay (miles or cash) to upgrade the TK segment to business? As of now, the best idea I have is to daily monitor UA's website and use expert flyer to see if UA award space opens up on the TK flight and then call in to UA to change my flight. Any advice would be appreciated.
