BA's website doesn't allow stop-overs when changing to Cathay (or probably any other airline). You can transit (<24 hours) only. I've tried for years. Each time I have to ring up to book. They always waive the phone booking fee, always say "oh, not sure why the website won't let you book it" but each time it's the same palaver.
