I always stay here when I'm in Dublin, it's become my favourite hotel there. It's true they don't have connecting deluxe rooms and I believe someone once told me that only the highest suite is connected to a twin for the kids. They should have been honest with you in advance of your first stay.
I agree, the breakfast is one of the best! Decent freshly brewed coffee!!

I am shocked to read you got a sheep and drink vouchers for the bar!!! After so many stays here not once gave I been offered that!! I will have serious words when I go there in September.

To be honest I think you were lucky on your second stay, I have stayed here so many times and only received a junior suite twice, and they are lovely. At least they have a seperate shower which the other rooms, superior and deluxe, lack. I hate having the climb over a high bath to shower.
