True ,ba.com I booked 1way September award flight CX MNL-HKG this week , 7500avios and 24euro versus 250usd paid (to connect tomy BA F HKG-LHR-AMS....... for a YQ saving purchasing flights as exHongkong v ex-Manila)

Same as for BA metal redemptions, then offered option to reduce the 7500 avios needed by ponying up usd's which I passed on.
