I am trying to book flights to Australia from Paris CDG with Cathay Pacific and I am shocked to see that most of booking classes get 20 tier points (and around 1000 avios per leg). Actually, it is either you get flexible Y tier points and avios (Y, B and H) or lowest (all other booking codes).

Is this normal? is it new? Where are the low tiers points (35 pts). Here is the avios calculator output for CDG-HKG with CX.
