MIA will certainly be your best gateway. You should be able to find a travel agent who can sell you a discounted ticket to Bolivia from there but you are limited to only two airlines offering direct flights. Published fares run about 600 plus tax. If you can't find a cheap offering from a travel agent you could look at going into Lima. Flights run about 350 and then fly from there to either La Paz or Arequipa/Cuzco (cheaper) and go by land into Bolivia.

As a student look into STA travel or similar.
