Another FTer, a Senior Mod, was in Reykjavik recently and spoke highly of Geiri Smart Restaurant. And the included extended Continental breakfast is very good as well, particularly given the high prices of d edything in Iceland. Easy walking to pubs, shopping, sights, you name it.
