The British PM is trying to overule the person who has the position she held in the prior PM’s cabinet. In private and in public, the head of Home indicates it will change for the worse at airports if the PM gets her way with a special UK-only (or UK CTA-only) clearance facility at the largest UK airports. Given May’s record of making British airports worse when she headed Home, I have no faith in her judgement being superior to Home’s SJ. May will
manage to make it worse.
