The parents did not identify themselves as being connected with the infant...and it was not very obvious given the crowded situation and unusually high number of infants on this flight, over 20 according to the purser's count.
This gets more and more interesting (and bizarre). So there was an infant in this guy's seat that nobody claimed as their child? Sounds like the FA should have deplaned the infant and called child protective services since it had obviously been abandoned. I bet if they'd done that, the parents would have come forward immediately.
