Too many (unwanted) upgrades from ET --> CE unfortunately. I will make all attempts to get my original emergency exit seat reinstated and someone else can 'enjoy' having their knees in their mouth for the duration of the flight.

For CW --> F, I travel BA mainly JFK/PHL-LHR and for me upgrades are less frequent, but have happened. I tend to travel on the later JFK services that are quieter than the earlier services so I guess more upgrades happen then.

As User Name correctly points out, there are no predictions. It is only done if your original seat is needed for someone else.
