I must admit that I’ve never checked a bag for an intl-dom itinerary in Indonesia, but have found fwiw that I could have it checked through all the way to the final destination when flying into other countries (except for the US)
well in US, they can tag it to your final destination but you need to pick it up and clear custom in the first entry point into US and then re-drop the bag into conveyor belt post custom.
