Given EI’s owners have said Aer Lingus won’t be joining oneworld, that implies AA-EI codeshares, so AAdvantage members would be able to earn as if flying AA on those AA marketed, EI operated flights. But that might also mean we’d be able to fly at EI’s fares and earn nothing for AA, or pay significantly higher prices for AA marketed flights on EI.

If that’s the case, convenience (DUB, connections to Continental Europe in Coach, USA-DUB nonstop from a few US cities, but not much, if any, savings if one wishes to earn AA.
