For the OP ... what the two posts above are referring to is that if you have one ticket on jet blue and another ticket on norwegian and for any reason the jet blue flight is late and you miss the norwegian flight you are screwed because norwegian will see you simply as a no show and cancel your ticket. You will not have any recourse other than to buy a new ticket for the next flight.

If that is not the case and both flights are on the same ticket I personally would not want an hour between terminals. Remember, though it says you have an hour, flights close the boarding 15 minutes before departure and the arrival time is at the gate, not the time you will be getting off the plane. Further, IIRC if you have bags checked you will need to collect and re-check them which exiting security.
