I have the Schwab Platinum and my 2nd year $550 just posted.
Called retention and was advised the only incentive showing was 12,500 AmEx Rewards for $2,000 spend in 3 months. Since I planned on keeping it for another year anyway, I accepted the offer, although I was hoping for a bit more.
I should note that my spend (after initial requirement for bonus) was pretty minimal. Lucky if I spent another $1,000 on the card after meeting the initial spend.
Next year I'll likely apply for the Platinum Business a few weeks before the annual fee is due to post and then cancel the Schwab if I get an acceptance. The question then will be do I cash in some AmEx points for 1.25 at Schwab before closing it.... it's not a great transfer rate, but it's not bad since I have more Airline and Hotel points than I'll likely use for a long time.
