For a one way fare, it was much cheaper to fly via LAX.
snagging an S fare on both legs only cost me a little more than $200. The interesting thing is that the two legs of my flight were priced separately due to the greater than 4 hour layover. Maybe there is more competition in the LAX and BOS market and the RNO and LAX market instead of the RNO-BOS market.
As a college student, I gotta save my $$$, which means I get to waste some time in LAX. Although, I will meet one of my friends in LA for lunch during my layover.

Just dont want to lug the bags around during lunch.
