Ok, the EC T&C is confusing on this. I have two related questions.

1) Can I fly award LHR-SFO on BA then return LAS-SFO-LHR using HP for the LAS-SFO leg? That's the way I read it but I might be getting it wrong? Will this cost me any more miles than LHR-SFO-LHR?

2) Can I fly award LHR-JNB-LVI then return DUR-CPT-LHR stopping over in CPT? All flights would be on BA metal and within the Southern Africa zone.
