You need 75 nights to hit legacy MR Plat but if you hit legacy MR Gold it will map to Plat in the new program and count as a year of Plat towards LT status. While technically true that you need 75 nights for Plat under the legacy MR program it is misleading to say you need 75 nights for 2019 Plat.
