New Survey: "Tell Us About Your Food Experience At The SFO Polaris Lounge"

Survey title says it all. I was happy to fill out this one, because the food in the lounge was the lowlight of what was otherwise a really excellent flight (now the onward TG segment, that's another story . . .).

First survey question was about the flight experience overall. I gave 5/5. It was really a great flight. Then they asked about Polaris lounge experience overall. I think I gave 3/5, because they did a nice job with the space. I especially enjoyed the "Studio" which was dead empty and has the best runway views in the whole lounge

On the food options, and hot food specifically, I gave 1 star. I was in for lunch, and on this - my third visit - I saw exactly the same options as on the past two. The fried chicken cutlet was the only hot protein option. Same uninspired salads (mostly mirroring the UC salad bars), some very sad sushi, and these unappealing little sandwiches which are about 98% focaccia, with a tiny stripe of filling. (Unfortunately, sit down dining wasn't an option for me due to phone calls.)

I really hope they upgrade the buffet at SFO. It's so far behind the physical facility, it really cheapens the experience for me.
