I am finally home and bittersweetly caught up reading this thread. Thank you to every single person responsible for bringing us together for this momentous flight. The following day, I arrived and again departed from SFO Terminal 2. I passed our gate on my way to my ABQ flight at 50B and the red VX departure screen was gone. No evidence anything out of the ordinary took place there 17 hours before. Life goes on, doesn't it.
