Though I gotta say, I actually get annoyed with the number of passes AS makes with the beverage cart. When sitting in the front half of coach, it is not possible to get to the lavs pretty much the entire first half of a transcon flight, and then again for a while towards the end. I don't generally think much of the VX experience, but mostly delivering drinks on trays instead of aisle-blocking carts would be a big plus.

On my last flight, my four-year-old and I wound up stuck in the back for 5 minutes or so after using the rear lav because the cart was near row 20 and the FA told us to wait; they weren't going to let us by to get to row 11. But the other FA went out of his way to find a coloring book and crayons for the kiddo because we were separated from her books etc. That kind of getting small things right is my general experience from AS.

This is also why I have essentially zero sympathy for first class passengers on this board who frequently complain about us unwashed coach passengers using (gasp!) the lav at the front of the plane. Much of the time, there isn't another option!
