But the other FA went out of his way to find a coloring book and crayons for the kiddo because we were separated from her books etc. That kind of getting small things right is my general experience from AS.

This is also why I have essentially zero sympathy for first class passengers on this board who frequently complain about us unwashed coach passengers using (gasp!) the lav at the front of the plane. Much of the time, there isn't another option!
Seems fixable with a mid cabin lav.
